Alpe di Siusi cable car

The cable car leading to the Alpe di Siusi plateau is one of the most innovative systems in Europe

Just 25 minutes from the hotel you will find yourself 175 km of slopes

The Alpe di Siusi is an unparalleled natural spectacle. To maintain it for the future, the road to the Alpe in the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park is closed to traffic from 9.00 to 17.00. Between 09.00 to 17.00, you can reach it via the Alpe di Siusi cable car or by bus. Exception: all those who have booked accommodation on the Alpe (e.g. in Compaccio) will be able to access the Alpe di Siusi by car. In the mid-season periods (from November to early December and from April to the end of May) the cable car is closed but not the road on the Alpe di Siusi to Compaccio which remains open.

The Alpe di Siusi cable car is one of the most modern lifts in Europe. The valley station is located in Siusi at Sciliar, near the Matschnsäge sawmill (via Sciliar, 39) (open directions on the map). From there, the cable car leads, on a route of approx. 4.3 km, up to the mountain station in Compaccio, overcoming an altitude difference of over 800 m in 15 minutes. You can take your bike on the cable car, and even your four-legged friends can go up (leash and muzzle are required).

There is ample free parking for cars and buses near the valley station. Besides, there is a shuttle bus available, which connects the valley station with the villages of Castelrotto, Fiè at Sciliar, Siusi at Sciliar and Passo Pinei. The Dolomiti SuperSummer Card, the Alpe di Siusi Gold Card and a Combi Card is valid for the Alpe di Siusi cable car.
