Hiking & skiing at the Corno del Renon near Bolzano
Hiking on the sun-drenched high plateau, strolling along the promenades, a ride on the narrow-gauge railway and in winter skiing or cross-country skiing with a magnificent view of the Sciliar and other Dolomite peaks - the high-plateau of the Renon is a popular excursion and holiday destination all year round.
The sun-drenched and panoramic skiing area Corno del Renon offers a mountain railway, two lifts and skiing fun for the whole family on 13 kilometers of slopes. By the way, the skiing area is easily accessible by train & bus from the Bolzano train station. Slopes of all levels of difficulty make a day of winter sports on skis or on your snowboard a great experience. In addition, 30 km of prepared winter hiking trails are available, along which you can enjoy the panoramic views to the fullest. Those who prefer cross-country skiing will find panoramic circular trails with fantastic views of the Dolomites on the Schönalm. The toboggan run on the Corno del Renon is easily accessible by mountain railway or on foot from Pemmern via the Rosswagen on trails 7 and 4. The Naturhotel Wieserhof is 12 km away from the slopes - you are welcome to use our free transfer service.

There are about 350 km of hiking trails on the Corno del Renon - from leisurely walks such as the Renon promenade to more challenging high-altitude hikes on the Corno del Renon. No matter where you decide to go, an impressive panoramic view as well as wide, green meadows as far as the eyes can see will characterize your walks. Whether you choose the earth pyramids, the "Sommerfrischweg", Bad Sies, Tann, the Freud promenade, the wine hiking trail or the Rittner Horn circular trail as your hiking destination - the sunny plateau is matchless in terms of variety. By the way, you can also do lama trekking, archery, horseback riding, mountain biking or e-bike tours.
